Arrowhead Harley-Davidson & Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center partner with Forever Young Active Series to create an unbelievable running and riding experience.

Come join hundreds of 5K, 10K or Half Marathon runners on the New River Trial, or grab your road bike for the Harley Davidson sponsored ride traveling to a surprise destination, then back to the Peoria Sports Complex for a post-celebration with live wildlife exhibits, Sheriff Joe appearance, food & beer!




The Leather n’ Sole Run/Ride is a first of its kind action-packed event blending runners and machines.

Runners will run their course on 83rd Avenue to the New River Trail System; along with bikers riding to their photo staged location, with everyone coming back together to celebrate at the Peoria Sports Complex.

The Leather N’ Sole Run/Ride is proud to partner with Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center Auxiliary (AMWCA) as our Title Charity. AMWCA rescues hundreds of injured wildlife animals each year, successfully returning 70% back into the wild. A portion of your registration fees go to AMWCA to support their rescue efforts of wildlife in Arizona.

Date: Sunday, April 17th, starting at 8:00am
Location: Peoria Sports Complex: 16101 N 83rd Avenue, Peoria AZ 85382
Parking: Free Parking at Peoria Sports Complex
Packet Pickup:

  • Motorcycle Riders: On Saturday, April 16th, from 10am-6pm, go to Arrowhead Harley Davidson located at 16130 N Arrowhead Fountains Center Drive, Peoria AZ 85382.
  • Runners: On Saturday, April 16th, from 10am-6pm, go to Sports Authority located at 7360 W Bell Road, Glendale AZ 85308.
  • Runners & Riders: On Sunday, April 17th, from 6am-8am, go to the Peoria Sports Complex located at 16101 N 83rd Avenue, Peoria AZ 85382.
Post-Race Celebration: Festivities begin at 9:00am at the Peoria Sports Complex
Timing: All Running Courses will be chip timed with live video feed.
Acceptable Entries: Strollers and Wheelchairs are acceptable on courses.

For me, when I was a kid, volunteering was the last thing I was thinking about. When I see kids doing it now, it amazes me. It’s very impressive, it gives them something productive to do as opposed to getting in trouble. For them to take time out at such a young age is remarkable. I think all kids should take a little time out to volunteer.

You don’t have to be a runner, or ride a motorcycle to participate at the Leather N’ Sole Run/Ride.

The Heartbeat of the Run

We are committed to improving the community we serve by announcing Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center Auxiliary (AMWCA) as our Title Charity for the Leather N’ Sole Run/Ride. AMWCA rescues hundreds of animals annually, in which 70% are successfully returned back into the wild. Your financial donations support the daily needs of the animals at the AMWCA rescue facility and helps ensure the resources will be available during times of environmental disasters such as wild fires, floods and drought. A portion of your registration fees go to AMWCA to support their rescue efforts of wildlife in Arizona.
